For the price this is an exellent model. Great processor, great overall system. Easy to upgrade - HDD, RAM, and mini-pci. One big thing that surprised me was how cool it stays. Not until playing Diablo 3 for almost 3 hours did it finally start to heat up and that was only just around the vent; no where else on the laptop heated up at all. Asus products have always been good to me and this doesnt seem to be any different, plus you always have Asus' exellent warranty just in case.

Bought this laptop last week from superior deal and it got here this week, so A+ to superior deal on fast shipping. When I was reading all of the review for this machine there was one little fact that I wanted to know but could never find and here it is the Battery life on this guy is ~4-6 hours depending on what you do. It also came with some bloatware that made the battery seem low when I first got it, it displayed at that time at 2:30 hrs remaining on a 90% charge. So, I recommending tweak some settings to get 6hrs on power saving mode. Also another thing to take into consideration is the fact that this laptop's bios come locked as in they do not allow for overclocking or underclocking. I'm currently trying to find a way to underclock to see if I can get more battery life but I do understand why Asus opted to remove this feature. Overall this model is a winner it's fast and last long and looks great, and I wholeheartly recommend it for school or work.Also something I forget to mention is that the model of this laptop is K53E, and that is the model you have to type in order to get the drivers of this laptop. I'll also probably be upgrading to a SSD and some more memory, so I'll update my review when and if that happens.

Very good for the price, powerful, great key board. Was worried about the built in graphics (Intel HD3000), turns out I'm impressed, works great /w games and video editing. I added 8 gig of memory, comes /w 4 gig for a big impovement! Over all it's a very good lappy! (It does have HDMI port) specs dont say it above. USB 3.0 very fast! the card reader works great also.
