5I love this little beauty.
By Laurie Doherty Fawthrop
I am thrilled with my HP Pavilion. My last computer was on its last legs after six years of faithful use. I had replaced the hard drive three times the keyboard stuck. The monitor didn't work the last few years, I had to buy an extra one and plug it in, but I still managed to struggle on for a year or two. Then a friend of mine offered to help me buy a new computer. We did quite a bit of research and decided this HP was what I wanted and needed. I am a graphic designer/cartoonist and this computer fit the bill. I have since bought several different types of graphic software and I have been teaching myself how to draw cartoons on the bambbo board I also purchased. It has been a real blast! It has been well worth the time and effort to pay my friend back. I am glad I took the plunge.

4Great but for one thing.
By Jason
I love a lot of things about this laptop. It runs well and the battery life was great for the first two or so years. I could get around 4 to 5 hours of use before having to plug in. The main thing I don't like are the keys. While they are comfortably spaced, there is no way to get to them should anything happen. This was first a problem for me since I use the Dvorak instead of the QWERTY. I had to put little stickers over the keys to compensate. Then more recently I spilled some pop onto the keyboard. Should I have been more careful? Of course. But with most keyboards you just pop of the key, clean them, and you're good to go. First of all, these keys do not simply pop off. There is no way to get under them whatsoever. I then looked into replacing the keyboard altogether. That too is near impossible. You *can* pay someone at a retailer to do it for $200, but how the thing is put together is in such a haphazard manner as to make it impossible for anyone without a degree in computer engineering to take it apart. You have to first remove the hard drive even to get to the screws holding the keyboard in place.Even then it is glued to the frame of the computer. So, as far as it running goes, I love it. I'm a university student and it does everything I need it to do. As far as repairs go, these things happen to the best of us. Something will inevitably come up and this is not a laptop that can be easily repaired.

3just okay.

Had to disable fingerprint feature in order to get any speed out of this computer. It is also too touchy. It will open pages while moving cursor across page. I wouldnot recommend this computer.
