A lot of PC for the money! HP DV7-4169wm

I compared quite a few different versions of this laptop before deciding to get this one. First it is FAST! I can do anything on this laptop as well as I can on my desktop. I have always been a fan of the styling of HP laptops, and this one won't let you down in the looks department. The lid and palmrest are aluminum and have a textured finish to them, so you can feel the design, not just see it. The emblem on the back of the LCD lights up when it is on, I think that is pretty cool as well. The hardware inside this beast can handle anything you throw at it with ease! I haven't found anything short of cutting edge video games that will make it stutter at all. The screen is absolutely gorgeous! It is really super to put a Blu Ray movie in and sit back and relax. The Beats audio system works great if you are using headphones, or external speakers, but really the built in speakers do a great job too! This is a moderately heavy laptop at about 9 pounds, but I didn't buy it to pack it around all day either, so you may think about that as well. I have also noticed that this PC does get a little warm if you are taxing it alot, but not alarmingly hot. I have gotten about 5 hours run time from the 9 cell battery, so that is really impressive for a laptop of this size and power. All in all, I would say that if you want a real desktop replacement, and don't plan to pack it around constantly, you can't do any better than this one right here. Also, you should invest in a high quality bag for it and not buy the cheapo bags, 17" displays are expensive to replace should it get carelessly squashed!

Toshiba satellite sent with a corrupt harddrive

Toshiba Satellite L755-S5349 15.6-Inch LED Laptop - Fusion Finish in Matrix SilverI was sent this computer as a direct buy from Amazon with a corrupt hard drive and have lost my job because of it. You'd think Amazon would want to make this right? Nope, just 8 weeks for a refund until I can go buy a new one and hope and pray I can get another job!
