Works well with ubuntu linux

I bought this computer to use it with Ubuntu 10.10 and it was best buy ever!Webcam,microphone,audio,Touchpad,Wireless. Also the FN shortcut for audio,display dim and hybernate does fine.not testet; e-sata, HDMI and ExpressCard.I Recommend for who do with Ubuntu

It crashed from day 1

I bought this computer the 27th of January. and when I got it, it immediately started going, randomly, to a blue screen and them restarting. Through my reaserch into the problem I found that this error was referred to as the "BSOD" the blue screen of death. I called sony and they had me do a complete system restore. After all that it still will periodically crash. Dont waste your money on this defective model. I dont know if i just got a defective one or not but buy this at your own risk.
