4very pleased with the faster processing speed!
By Mary B. Deats
I purchased this item (not through Amazon) after doing some research online visiting various sites. I was not able to find any reviews at the time of my purchase, but as I wanted a faster processing speed than my old laptop, plus Blu-Ray capability, and a host of other things, I am more than pleased with my purchase. I do like the raised keys (like a Mac), the size of the screen is suitable for my needs, the finish is great on it. I am not a fan of the finger pads, so purchased a wireless mouse, which is fine with me. I have only just started using it, but now that I have loaded my Navigator speech to text program on it, look forward to getting a lot of paperwork at home done much more quickly than previously. The start up and close down time is much faster as well. Good all around. I look forward to reading what other users find with this product.

4Epic

I do a lot of multimedia work, and I'm very pleased with how well this laptop works for that purpose. Even while editing large video files and editing photos simultaneously in two processor-heavy programs, this baby doesn't slow down or give me any crap. This speedy laptop can handle anything it seems. It's very well integrated with viewing and working on multimedia files, and the overall speed and performance is to die for. Top tier laptop in my opinion....And it only gets four stars. I've taken very good care of the battery - hell, I only use the battery when I'm on the move, or while doing smaller tasks. I rarely do anything multimedia-heavy with the battery in, because I know that those things will strain the battery. And I've also made sure to keep the battery cool as much as possible. So even after taking measures like that to ensure a long battery life, after only a few months the battery started draining faster than a water bottle with a hole in it. I'm talking going from 100% battery to 40% battery after doing absolutely nothing but typing up a document for only an hour. I know most laptop batteries suck in general but this is such a great laptop that you'd expect better. Otherwise, I find this product nearly perfect.

4Great laptop.....annoying dvd/bluray side-tray
By Ammann Lukas
This is a very short review. I Love everything about the laptop. It works great, looks great, and has excellent battery life. But, hey, SONY, what were you thinking when you designed the dvd tray? There is no way you can handle the laptop without accidentaly activating and therefore opening the dvd tray. Every. Single. Time.If you touch the tray, at almost any point of it, it opens up. Really really annoying....

4The sweet spot on price vs performance
By Justin H. Legate
The Asus K50AF-X1 is a solid performing laptop with a very reasonable price tag. The dual core AMD processor and 4 gigs of ram make windows 7 perform well, even in the Aero environment. Additionally, the ATI dedicated video card enables this laptop to perform decently on modern games such as Left 4 Dead 2, Split/Second, etc. However, it's not a miracle machine, so bear in mind you will have to run some of these games on medium/low graphics settings. However, it certainly runs rings around any laptop using intel's onboard graphics. Burnout Paradise runs flawlessly at maximum settings with high framerate. To get any better gaming performance out of a laptop, you would have to break the $1000 barrier, possibly even going into the 1200-1500 dollar range. When I bought this laptop, it was on sale here at amazon for $550, and it has proven itself an astoundingly good deal.Win7 boots pleasingly fast, and the install is relatively clean. It does come with some proprietary asus software loaded, but very little of it is memory resident, and what little IS is actually pretty useful, such as the on-the-fly ability to change between four power useage settings. The laptop also has the option to use facial recognition software as a login alternative (via the built-in webcam), but this is mostly just a cool convenience gimmick and adds no real security features. I am at a bit of a loss as to why Asus decided to partition the 500 gig hard drive into two logical drives, but that's a minor gripe I suppose. The built in microphone performs acceptably for voice chat. The button on the optical drive is protected by a protrusion just above and below the button, which I suppose helps prevent accidental pressing of the eject button, but it also means you pretty much have to get in there between the protrusions with a fingernail to press the button in far enough for the computer to realize you want to eject the disk.I also don't particularly care for 16x9 aspect ratio displays (I prefer 16x10), but I suppose that's what all the laptops are going to these days.Pros:Very competitively pricedGood graphics performance for the price rangeDecent sound for a laptopLarge hard driveGood keyboard, with good layout4 USB ports, two on each sideNo plugs in backWireless N and ethernet jack bothCons:High reflectivity on displayHigh gloss case gathers fingerprints/smudges like crazytouchpad uses "multiple finger touch" to scroll instead of having a scroll zone at the sides of the touchpad, which can be a little slow to respondNo HDMI out (does have VGA out, however)Minor gripes:A little annoying to push the button to eject optical drive16x9 aspect ratio (1344x768)Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

4A Solid Purchase
By A. Alfonso
i decided to get this laptop since the price seems pretty good after the $150 off.Pros- Keyboard is well-made- Screen. Bright and easy to read.- Asus FastBoot Program - lets you choose which programs load during startup and which load after. Speeds up the boot quite a bit.- Speaker audio quality is pretty good for a laptopCons- Case is a fingerprint magnet.- Web cam is low res and has difficulty in low light (haven't tried different drivers yet).I've also been playing games on it. so far the frames i get (with fraps on) are as follows:StarCraftII Beta - 30-32 fps on med-high settingsWorld of Warcraft - 35-60 fps on high (depending on what you're doing)League of Legends - 25 fps on high, 33 on medCoD Modern Warfare 2 - 25-26 fps on medF.E.A.R. 2 - 35 fps on medLeft 4 Dead 2 - 33 fps on med-highOverall recommended for the price point. wasnt expecting it to be able to play games so well but i was pleasantly surprised. I'd give it a 4.5/5.

2Disappointed!
By Joshua Huntington
Yes, I knew before hand of the poor battery life, which is ~2 hours, in power saving mode. This was not the issue. My biggest concern was with the wireless ability, as my download speeds would constantly fluctuate, often times pausing altogether. The laptop also rebooted twice randomly while I used it throughout the night. These two issues are unacceptable, so I promptly spoke with customer service, was given a return shipping label, and purchased this item instead: [...]On the plus side, the build quality seemed to be very good, and it did run cool and quite. The aforementioned problems were problems too significant for me to ignore.

5Love this laptop!
By Hunter A. Van Horn
I purchased this Dell XPS 15z a few months ago and have had enough time using it to properly review it. When I heard that Dell was releasing a slim line of XPS laptops I was very excited. The Dell XPS line has always impressed me because they are performance systems at affordable prices. Combine those two elements with a slim line of laptops and you get one heck of a deal. For a while I contemplated purchasing a Macbook Pro 13" because of it's aesthetic appeal but was having a hard time justifying paying the $500 premium for the design and operating system. That all came to an end when Dell finally released the XPS 15z. The laptop is a Macbook pro clone, it looks very similar to the 15" model that apple offers. All of the usb and peripheral plugs are on the left side (except for power and Ethernet plugs), the battery indicator with little lights is also on this side like the mac. There is a slot loading dvd drive on the right side and the dimensions are basically the same. The new XPS comes with the second generation sandy bridge processors from Intel, unfortunately they are only the dual core processors but they are still plenty powerful for most applications. In addition to these new processors the laptop comes with a GeForce GT525M with 1GB of video memory. So far this graphics card has been able to handle everything that I've thrown at it seamlessly. I'm not a PC gamer and I've read other reviews to suggest that this card would be able to play most modern game at medium settings. Which isn't bad for a laptop of this size. One of the nicest things about the laptop that I own is the full 1080p resolution of the screen. That option alone basically sold me on the machine, not very many laptops come with this option and have all the other goodies that this comes with. Like the USB 3.0, Mini DVI, New Processors, Fast RAM, Optimus Enabled GeForce Card.I've also had a good experience with the battery life on my laptop. Using the dell power management settings I can get around 5-6 hours of time on the laptop watching movies online, surfing the web, listening to music and doing work. That is very similar to my friends Macbook Pro 13", the times that the companies post online about 8 hours battery time is nonsense. Unless you turn the brightness setting down to the lowest settings and use word or some low CPU intensive program with no sound you aren't going to get that kind of battery life stated on company websites. But nonetheless 5-6 hours is plenty for me.Although I love the laptop and wouldn't trade it in for any other laptop, there are a few negatives I need to mention. The chrome trim around the base of the machine seems like more of an afterthought and doesn't really hold up very well. It's really just a plastic piece that is clipped in there. The panel surrounding the plugs on the left side is also a little flimsy, not that big of a deal but definitely not first class material. Also, as a computer guy I don't know why anyone would use the Dell Stage software. It really seems like a waste of RAM but that might be more of a taste thing, kind of like how I don't like anything on my desktop except for the My Computer and Trash icons. All in all this laptop is great and I would give it a 4.5 stars if I could on here but since I can't I'm rounding up. If you can spend the extra hundred bucks I strongly recommend upgrading the screen and getting the full 1080p experience. That way when a mac fanboy tells you how much better his 15" laptop is just ask him what the resolution of his screen is :P, it definitely won't be 1080p. If you prefer Windows to Mac OS and want a slim line laptop get this, if you have the money and like Mac OS then go with the 15' Pro. Also, a 14" model of this is coming to market very soon! So if you wanted something even smaller wait for that, it will have all the same stuff except for the full 1080p screen.Pros:New Processor (2nd Gen Intel Core i processors).Fast RAM, and plenty of it.Beautiful resolution. (If you get the 1080p resolution, 720p is nice too)Efficient graphics card with optimus technology that will get you better battery life.Battery life is good.Affordable for the high end specifications.Multi Touch Trackpad (Works great for me)Cons:Build quality could be better. Chrome trimming is cheap. No quad core processor option. Not designed for hardcore gamers. (Regular XPS or Alienware line is for gamers)Thank you for reading my review.Cheers,Hunter

4Great---except for the lighted keyboard
By Paul D
I have used many Dell products at both home and work and I have always liked them. Very reliable with good set of features.I like this 15Z but I have been disapointed in the lighted keyboard for following reasons...1) Very shiny surface on keys but are hard to see unless you have very good ambient light or the keyboard is lit.2) The user has few options to change the way the keyboard lights work. The stock Windows 7 allows the user to program the lights to your liking but Dell has locked the user out of that capability. By default, the lights are "dim" (aka...unreadable) when you power it up. You can change that to be brighter but it defaults back to dim if you power your laptop off. Even if you adjust the brightness, the keyboard will go off after a minute or so of unuse. The lights will come back on when you start typing again. That might be a reasonable strategy when on battery but mine is typically not on battery. I would prefer to (a) change the default brightness to high and (b) increase the time before the lighted keys turn off. That user option is not available with the way Dell has locked out the user.Otherwise, I think this is a great laptop. I wanted to give it a 5 but I knocked off a star due to the inability of a user to make adjustments to the lighted keyboard.

4Excellent Laptop
By H.L.
Pros:-Very well made.-Great performance. I play BF3 on it on all high settings.-Reminiscent of the Macbook pro design, right down to the backlit keyboard and mechanized DVD drive.-Mini-displayport out. Works with iMac display port.Cons:-Network port will not sync @ gig speeds after standby. You need to pull the cable and reconnect. No big deal if you don't care about hardwire network.-Screen is not 1080p only 1366x768.Overall very pleased with purchase.

5Excellent all around
By David Y. Tay
I didn't buy this on Amazon, I got it on sale on Best Buy (< 450) but it's such a good computer I thought I'd leave a review here. This was a great deal at 450. I bought this after reviewing similar models by Dell and Lenovo and settled on this because of the larger 4gb RAM and 500gb hard drive and it was on sale. It's also lighter than most 15.6" laptops, about 5.3 lbs. I enjoy having it on my lap while sitting on the sofa. It doesn't get hot and the only minor distraction is the fan blowing air on left side. The Core I3 is speedy, the 500gb hard drive is huge and the integrated graphics is more than acceptable. I am able to run NBA 2K10 and MLB 2k9 with acceptable quality.I tried to install a Hackintosh but it didn't work, kept on getting kernel panics. I tried both the MyHack and iBoot so I just ended up running Mac OS X 10.6.7 in a virtual machine. Other than that, I'm happy with the Windows 7 64-bit.

I received this 2 days after I ordered it. Fortunately, I have a "techie" son who handle all of the set up and brought it over and hooked it up to all my peripherals. This is a quick computer that is lightweght and large enough for my 47 year old eyes! Thank you Amazon and HP

3Great computer but has some problems
By D. Andersen
Well, this is my first time doing a review on here, but becuase of how few reviews I have been able to find on this laptop, I figured I should share my thoughts on it.First off, the packaging was amazing! You can tell they really took their time when designing the way this product would be shipped and opened for first use.The look and feel of this laptop is also really good. It feels really strong and not made out of some cheap materials. I love how it comes with ZERO stickers on the laptop that display what is it in. The laptop is very sleek and clean looking. I also love the custom theme that it is for Windows 7. It is also very simple and clean. It is a LOT better than the default windows 7 theme. The keyboard is also very well made and I love the backlighting. However, this amazing laptop also has some flaws that I wish I knew about BEFORE purchasing this item. I had no idea that the other Envy products (Envy 15 for example), suffer from black or blank screen problems! At random (normally when the computer is sitting without being used for a short time) the screen will just fade to black. If you look really hard from certain angles you can see the desktop, but its so dark you cannot shut down the computer. This also happens nearly 100% of the time when you close the screen and return to your computer after a short time. From what I have read online, the only "fix" for this is to close the screen again or hold the power button until it restarts. Also, HP does not seem to see this has a problem with the computer, however just google HP envy 17 Black Screen and you will see all the issues people are having with this. HP just seems to replace the computers. Hopefully a fix will come out soon, but nobody can seem to figure out what causes this issue.Another problem I have been having is the random freezing. I will be doing nothing no downloads, no music playing, just simply sitting at the desktop and the computer will freeze. Again, the only fix for this is to hold down the power button until it turns off. Also, this issue is like the black screen problem. I have not found anybody that has been able to pinpoint the cause of this problem to get it fixed. Finally, the last problem is the heat! Man does this thing produce heat. It could heat up a house in the winter! With only ONE vent in the side of the computer that is in a really poor location, this thing is hard to cool down. I had to purchase a massive cooling pad to help keep it cool. Also, the place that seems to heat up the worst is to the left of the mousepad (which sucks as well) which if you are a gamer, that is not a good location. You will be resting your palm here to use the WASD keys for many of the games and your hand will get extremely hot.Overall, I really want to like this computer, but with the issue I am having, I don't know if I will be keeping it or returning it to Amazon. If I can figure out a fix for the random black screens or freezes, I will keep it since I can deal with the heat now that it has a pad. However, the random freezing and the black screens are a deal breaker for a laptop that costs SO much money. You would think that since the black screen problem was a major issue with the Envy 15 that they would have fixed it for the Envy 17, but like I said, HP does not seem to see this as a problem.EDIT: Well I have been dealing with HP support through e-mail and they are being anything but helpful at this point. Sure they reply to e-mails EXTREMELY fast for such a major company, but you can tell all their answers are canned replies that have already been typed and they simply copy and paste. For example, in the last e-mail from them, they gave me the instructions to do something on my computer for Windows XP...did they even check to see what the heck the laptop was?!?! Does HP even have laptops that have XP on them anymore? So far, after three e-mail messages and tons of research online, none of the problems I mentioned in the first review have been fixed. Buy at your own risk, but HP doesn't seem to understand the problems people are having with this machine.

5If you want helpful INFO and dont mind reading a little, this is it!
By Israel Hernandez
Out of the box this machine is extraordinary, The packaging alone tells you, you just bought a different type of laptop(very high end) perfectly packed with a couple of very nice extras(nothing big but I won't spoil the surprise)if you like bells and whistles this laptop has them all, aluminum case and the look of the etching is incredible and feels really solid (which is very good, having seen broken or bent motherboards and screens due to flimsy cases) beautiful LED screen, chicklet type illuminated keys, slot load BD player, extra long lasting battery...the works. Ok performance. Turning it on I was amazed by how quick this machine is and I have been around PCs and laptops all teen-adult life so I can tell you, you won't be disappointed. specs are up on the product description, but they are MISSING the best parts. This is a new i7 2.0 GHz processor (CPU) and it is quad core (4 CPU in one) BUT! with "hyper-threading" so if you don't speak geek what it means is that you virtually have (and you will see in your task manager) 8 (eight) 2.0 GHz processors running simultaneously this is awesome. Now to me the most important missing spec is that this is a HM65 chipset, what this means is that it comes available with blazing fast SATA 3 hard drive interface..in all my latest laptops this has been the performance bottleneck even with an SSD hard drive (downside, the laptop comes with 2 500Gb SATA 2 Hard drives. upside they come in RAID 0(you will see just one big disk on your explorer), which is a lot faster than normal setups.)but if you want the extra performance of SATA 3 you will have to buy a new HD. Last thing it has great battery life due to the double video card, so, on power saver, low performance video card and dimmed screen, I can get up to 3 hrs with the 6 cell battery. OK for us geeks that can't leave well enough alone...the laptop comes with 4gb + 2Gb RAM very bad! so BUY 8Gb RAM package and a SSD HD that is SATA 3 compatible (and a SSUSB (or USB 3.0) external enclosure to put the extra HD once your done), you will have to do a new windows install so download your drivers from HP except the SSUSB this one download it from a HP probook which is the same driver but newer and better (don't know why), and an updated video driver...I can't start to tell you how fast this machine turns out! by now you can see that I like computers, this one blew mi mind and I haven't over clocked it yet...hope this helps...long winded and all.

4Simply amazing.
By emarq006
Hp Envy 17-2070nr. So far I believe its an amazing laptop. Havent had a single problem, its extremely fast and it came flawless. Hopefully I will not have any problems in the future but if I do I will update. It did took me a few minutes to get used to the trackpad, but got used to it.I was afraid of buying because I could not find any reviews but I am glad I took the risk.edit:I had some issues with it freezing, supposedly the culprit was the wireless card, but I simply did a clean install of Windows 7 from the partition recovery, and the problem seems to be fixed. i brought it down to four because i shouldn't have to be fixing a brand new computer specially a 1400 dollar computer, but i did because i really love the feel and performance of the computer.

2Cooling fan known issues!
By coolreviewer1
The L640-L655 Toshibas have a serious software and BIOS issue with the cooling fan. The issue is well-documented on the official Toshiba forum. The cooling fan runs fast and loud (you will not be able to use this computer in airplanes, libraries, classrooms, group work sessions, etc. due to fan speed). The loud fan will prematurely wear out the fan spindle, and uses excessive battery. I am encouraging anyone even considering the purchase of these lines of TOshiba computers to do online research and search these words: Toshiba forum cooling fan constantly. You will see many threads, but the main one has now thousands of views and elucidates the problem well. If you don't wish to look at it now, you will be looking at it intently once you purchase this model of TOshiba. Thus far, there is no fix for this cooling fan software issue. I am posting here as an owner of a Toshiba in this product line and simply as a method to help my fellow Amazon shoppers with a known issue. You certainly can buy or pass based on your own experience and research. Thank you and happy computing.6/82011: Still issues. Some Toshiba laptops have a fan and cooling issue that is software related.Google "Toshiba forum cooling fan constantly on", or highlight and right click what I have type here to see the 13 page thread on this subject. The most recent 5 pages are 3-4 non-Toshiba computer programmers trying to solve the problem as Toshiba has been uncaring and useless. The key is to read the thread from the beginning to review all the people who first define the problem. I encourage anyone seeking a Toshiba computer to review the thread to see if their model is affected before purchase--most models are with AMD processors, but some are Intel latest chipsets (e.g. i5). It is not "a few bad computers", it is computers in each of the series specified. The post on the Toshiba Forum from FunkeA dated May 30, 2011 at 4:11pm has a list of Toshibas affected by this issue. This post is totally informational for you, a potential buyer, so that you can make your own informed decision about which computer to buy before making the purchase. Whether you buy Toshiba, one of these models, a different model, or a different brand, is completely up to you. Thanks and have fun time computer hunting.

5No problems
By Richard A. Larson
Haven't had this unit very long but all seems to be great at this point. I like the small screen and light weight. I would suggest buying a Toshiba wireless mouse to use with this instead of the built in one or a cheap one like Microsoft. Love the LED screen, crisp and clean picture. First time user of Windows 7 so just getting used to it. More later as I use it more.

5Exelent for price
By MPF
The design is very good. I bought this computer for my 9 year old nephew. It is easy to use, yet allows your processor to work fast and efficiently. Although the use that we are giving is very basic I'm sure you can work heavier. It has built-in web cam is an important detail. We have not had any kind of technical failure, so we are very happy. By the excellent results already bought another one.

5Very satisfied
By K. Davis
I've had this for over a month now, and it's more than I expected. The keyboard is the best I've ever used. Usually, when I have my laptop plugged in at my desk monitor, I use an independent keyboard and mouse and set the laptop to the side. But with this keyboard I've put the old independent in the drawer and flip the tablet screen all the way forward and under the monitor. This keyboard has great spacing, is very solid and responsive. As someone else noted, there is no Home or End key (which I use a lot) but the FN+Left Arrow and FN+Right Arrow do the same things. When away from the desk I use the touchpad and even though the "button" areas are stiff, you can use multigestures on the pad to trigger button actions so I hardly ever use the "button" areas. When at the desk I use a mouse.I run Win7, and on a Virtual Box partition, a Linux server. Both OSes run concurrently (I develop Win browser based controls for Linux servers). I run two monitors, one plugged into the laptop's VGA port and the other is being run by the CPU using a Plugable USB (165) Display Adapter. The 1.33GHz processor has no problem keeping up with the two OSes and CPU ran display.Although I bought it primarily to use the the tablet concept, this jewel has replaced any need for a desktop. But, I do use the tablet 3 times a week for meetings with other designers on the team. I thought the note taking with the stylus would be the best feature, and while it is great, being able to sketch layout concepts on screen instead of scratch paper, and then email them to the participants, has been an extremely useful feature. But, not the BEST, that happened when one of the team members brought his iPad once, and was so humiliated he's never brought his toy a second time. The only Con, the screen is glossy to the max and really is a fingerprint magnet. An anti-glare film took care of it though. If you plan on working out on the patio in the sun, which I do a lot, plan on getting an anti-glare screen.Would I buy it again? My daughter's going to get one for her birthday ..... Will I buy it through Amazon? Of course.

5The best tablet PC out there
By D. Thomas
Okay, I've only had this thing a few days, but having worked in IT for MS and Xerox for nearly 20 years, I know a thing or two about PCs, laptops, Mac's and hardware along with various software packages. Right before Christmas 2010 I started thinking about getting an iPad2, and noticed the range of various iPad wanna-be's. I was amazed at the offerings and their claims, yet many didn't have any reviews and most were coming out of China. I cringed at the thought of buying some unheard of device that most likely come with worthless warrantees and dubious at best hardware configurations. I even looked at Dell's offering along with EEE pc's little touch netbook's. I very nearly bought one of them thinking... okay... the processor is about the same as the iPad's, the only big differences being Windows instead of iOS and more drive space. I'd come to hate Windows and defected to Mac O S when Vista was released. My big problem was that neither the iPad or my iPhone had enough storage space (I needed much more than 64gb). So a touch netbook it was going to be. I originally saw the HP TM2T and fell in love... but not with the price. HP Direct was offering its tablet for about $1200 as configured, which is very generous with an Intel i5 -470UM processor, 4 gb RAM, 500 gb drive, ATI 5450 graphics card, wifi and Windows 7 Home Premium. Ouch! Pretty pricey for whatis really a netbook. I thought I might as well just buy the iPad and live with the space limitations. Even on Amazonthese were selling for as high as $1900! For that kind of moneyI could just buy a MacbookPro. I really then hesitated when I started reading some of the Amazonreviews of the TM2, TX2 and theTM2T.There are alot of unhappy folks out there. They complained about how it overheatedall the time, about how bad thetouchpad was and the keyboard, the design on the cover.. and any smallinsignificant thing they could think of. Because of all the bad reviews I had felt the iPad was my only choice. After 4 months I looked at the TM2T again as I saw a seller offering a refurbished unit at half the cost of a new one. I put itin my cart 2 or 3 times and each time I would stop to reread oldreviews and that made me secondguess completing the purchase. Each timeone sold, the seller listed another one. Then I read a magazine reviewof their top 5 tablet PC picks andthe TM2T was second overal, but first when it came to graphics. You don't expect to see a tablet PC or netbook capable of DirectX11... but this one does. I have been putting this system thru thepaces and throwing everything I canthink of at it. I've installedAutoCAD, Photoshop CS5, video editing software, Visual Studio suite, evenOffice and I have only praises forthis little tablet and its seller.I won't lie in that there are afew minor things I don't really care for... such as the touchpadmouse and the etched cover. But they are both minor things to besure. If you can buy a new one, I highly recommend its. Otherwisekeep your eyes open for a factorsrefurbished one for $645. Eitherway, its worth it (despite the nah sayers)!

5HP Touchsmart "Maravilla"
By Nedgi
My story with this product starts quite ackwardly... I saw this product for the first time on the HP website on December 2010. It wasn't available yet with all the features I wanted on amazon. I could have bought it then but I was unemployed and I had other priorities. When I was absolutely ready for it, HP didn't have the customizing options I wanted, but the good thing is: AMAZON HAD IT! So I went online on January 20th and I finally purchased it!Pros- Windows 7, i5 core, 1.33 GHz up to 1.73 GHz, 6Gb RAM, 500Gb SATA HD,TrueVision Webcam and Fingerprint Reader,Touchscreen, Wireless N...- Smoothly turns On and Off- Fast and Easy access- Up to 6-7 hrs of battery life- Lightweight (Goes in my handbag!)Cons- Absence of DVD burner/player- No bluetoothThis PC is just awesome! I've had it for about 6 months and I've been more than satisfied. It works just like a charm. I bought an external DVD plyer/ burner whose brand is HP also and it works with my PC just fine. The Touchsmart software is accessible and lauches easily, making it possible to listen to music, view pictures, create magnets, funny notes and taking goofy pictures and videos. The summum is the touchscreen that makes it possible to write notes quickly and insert genuine signatures on all types of documents (doc, pdf, rtf ...). I don't have enough word to describe this tablet PC but I'll make sure to post a video review as soon as possible.
